Nathan Halm

Nathan, a native of Carol Stream, IL, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and a minor in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University, and then joined Weather Command as a Staff Meteorologist in November 2016. 

In school, Nathan participated in research on heart attack snow, which was then presented at the American Meteorological Society’s 96th Annual Meeting in January 2016. He also actively participates in the WxChallenge as well as works as a developer on the College of DuPage’s NEXLAB for iPhone app. 

When he’s not working, he enjoys watching sports, hiking, photography and reading.
