Brandon Swedlund

Brandon, a Wisconsin native, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an experienced meteorologist and has been with Murray and Trettel and Weather Command since November 2013. Brandon was appointed the Manager of the Operations Forecast Division in September 2023.

Brandon worked at Weather Central in Madison, WI, from 2006 to 2013. There he gained experience in forecasting for various industries including event venues, construction companies, snow plowers and sports stadiums. Brandon also forecast the weather for hundreds of newspapers across the United States, and was responsible for the graphical and digital creation of many newspaper weather pages.
