Christopher Appleby

Chris, a native of Brockport, NY, joined Murray & Trettel in June 2017. In September 2023, Chris was promoted to Field Service Manager. Prior to Murray & Trettel, he served on active duty in the Marine Corps as a meteorological equipment maintenance technician and was a field/site technician with the New York State Mesonet. During that time, he attended the electronics principles course with the Air Force and the meteorological equipment maintenance course with the Marine Corps and worked extensively with remote/local meteorological equipment and Doppler Weather Radar. He has a B.S. in Engineering Technologies – Electronics, has a certification in IoT and networking, and is the in-house climbing instructor for Murray and Trettel.
